A cost site earns trust by fixing mistakes quickly and visibly. If a value on DriveCostCheck looks wrong, please email corrections@drivecostcheck.com with:

How reports are handled

  1. Check against the source. Every displayed value traces to a specific field in the official FuelEconomy.gov datasets (see Data & sources). If our snapshot disagrees with the current official record, we refresh the snapshot.
  2. Check the math. The formulas are public on the methodology page and covered by automated tests. A calculation bug gets a fix and a regression test.
  3. Publish the outcome.Material corrections are noted on the affected page. If the official data itself looks wrong, we say so and link the upstream record — we do not silently "fix" official values.

Requests to add missing vehicles or fields are welcome at the same address.
