Short, because there's little to tell

No accounts. You never sign in, and the site stores no profile about you.
Calculations stay in your browser session. The mileage, driving mix, and prices you enter are used to compute results and are not saved to a database.
No advertising or third-party trackers. Pages load no ad scripts and no social pixels.
Aggregate, cookieless analytics. We use Vercel Web Analytics — a first-party, cookieless service that counts page views and referrers in aggregate. It sets no cookies, stores no cross-site identifiers, and never follows you to other sites. Visitors are counted via a short-lived anonymized hash, not a persistent profile.
Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 for aggregate acquisition and page-performance reporting. Google signals and advertising personalization are disabled. Google Analytics may use first-party measurement cookies according to your browser settings.
Saved preferences stay on your device.Your chosen price state and compare-tray contents live in your browser's localStorage only — they are never sent to us.
Server logs. Our hosting provider keeps standard, short-lived request logs (IP address, URL, user agent) for security and abuse prevention.
External links(for example to FuelEconomy.gov or Pexels) are governed by those sites' own policies.
